Truly fricking insane and the Supreme Court should have tossed this yesterday. The fact that they haven't already done so after the CDC openly defied them is disgusting.

They can't. The Supreme Court said so. Where are the hysterical news reports of "CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS!" The news media loved this term when Trump did things that were allowed under the Constitution, but unpopular with the Democrats.

They can't. The courts will still use it to halt evictions and that's the plan.
This is how the new government will work more and more: They will defer legislation to "the experts" and our governors, mayors, courts, etc will simply execute the order. The checks and balance system can be bypassed this way.
