A spy balloon?

Of course it could be deployed from a balloon if we are retarded enough to let it get into position. Sadly it looks to be the case as the monkeys are running the zoo

Why not just shoot the thing down?
Who cares if it’s a ‘weather balloon’ blown off course?
Dumbfounding that our airspace isn’t even worth a teensy tiny bit of justified target practice.
Pisses me off…

Can they describe an unleashed emp as an attack by china? When they actually allowed it to take place and planned for it? Probably

What about a biological weapon that would render farmland useless? Or poison our water supply? The scenarios are endless when you think about it. And yet it is still floating above our country.

posted this last night..
I don't think so. not one powerful enough to do much of anything.
the EMPs that we're concerned with are only generated because of that pesky nuclear blast. not by some EMP machine like oceans 11. so unless it has a nuclear warhead in it... and even then it's definitely not in the right spot or right altitude to incur maximum damage.. it would not hinder our response in any way. it would only guarantee retaliation.
but the fact that it PROBABLY doesn't have a EMP in it is not exactly a good reason to NOT shoot it down

Hell 100 lbs of fentanyl powder dumped over a major metro would cause massive death and chaos

I am not a scientist but I think that a low altitude EMP would only affect devices that are in a visible area to the balloon. Maybe I have read too many post apocalyptic books. I think the fact our "leaders" haven't shot it down is telling. I think they are worried that it may have some sort of biological or chemical aspect to it. Or maybe they are just stupid.

The sheer size of the device that would make a difference would be hard for a balloon to carry.
