Well, no one really knows. History shows that a monarchy is typically a kleptocracy, and that’s what it will probably be, but we won’t know until it happens.

That Grok writeup above your post mentioned a Georgetown group. During the Cold War, there were often countries in which the commies had kicked out a nationalist government. Somewhere in the West, a university or think tank would host the exile government as it planned a new government - how would institutions be manned, reformed, etc. Based on that grok writeup, I guess Georgetown University did that for Iran. So that would be your candidate.

I worry probably too much (or not enough) about American politics and issues, and studying/learning about things here and on our borders, and i feel kinda embarrassed that I really know very little about half of the middle-east and next to nothing about South American states.
Now I can tell you a LOT about Eastern Europe and China, my eyes have been on them for 20 years. I always felt like Venezuela would've been a lost cause, until just a week ago. Weird times, man.
