It also claims that he was a Special Agent. That’s a senior rank. His career was on an upward trajectory if that is true.
Special Agent is an entry level title, not senior.
The SS has had a high amount of turnover, but most take Special Agent positions with other Federal agencies like the various OIGs.

Special Agent is a job description not a job level. Whether first day on the job, or 20 years in, officers in the protective and investigative details are all Special Agents.

That's what I said... Other poster referred to a SA as a senior level. I would consider a Supervisory Special Agent, RAC, ASAC, SAC, etc as senior level.

Have a funny SS story. Went into a BLaw class one day, and little did I know the Dalai Lama was in the classroom I was about to enter (15 mins before the class started). Had a weird feeling; you know, seeing black Caddy SUVs with DC plates in Atlanta and verified snipers on the roof after the professor mentioned it after coming down to the first floor (her office being on the fifth floor, one floor down where the snipers were posted) after class started, and the following guy in the red robe leaves the building. Secret service guy comes out with his ear piece, asks me to move, and says "you're welcome." fricking prick. Minutes later, the Dalai Lama comes out. To be fair, I did look pretty rough--was no shave November.

A friend's parents went through security clearance because their house was next to the Clinton's rented house during a holiday. The old man visited with the security detail on several occasions, and they were not fans of the Clintons by any means.
I also know a guy who transferred out of the SS who still is a fed. Stand-up guy with a great family. He told me the Bush family were great people. He's evasive about the Clintons.

My SS story. After Katrina I worked as a surveyor for Cajun on the seawall in the lower ninth ward. That's where a barge had breeches the wall and was sitting on the street. We were on the news daily. Eventually we were visited by President Bush, Blanco and nagin. There are several circles of security around a President. The last circle was within fifty ft or so. Going through the final circle to speak to the President they ask you for any knives. As I was handing over my pocket knife a foreman asked where my safety glasses were. I said I had left them on my gun. Sometimes surveyors call a total station a gun. The secret service has no sense of humor about guns.

My brother worked in the White House for four years. He says everything Bongino said is the absolute truth. Sorry Dems, America got lucky with Trump.

I cannot believe anybody would believe that hillary clinton treats "little people" like anything other than dirt.

My best friend is retired SS, retired as SAC in a big city, He served under both Bushes, Reagan, Clinton, and Obama,
Was a by the book guy, crossed all the T's and dotted all the I's. We had Many talks about the Clintons and Obama, Everything about Hillary you here is true, she is
bad to the core, and this goes way back to the days of when Bill was Govorner, Hillary only cares about Hillary

My first wife worked at an orthodontist's office that fitted little Chelsea for her braces. When Hillary showed up, the wife and other girls that worked there hated seeing her coming. Said Clinton was impatient and rather bossy when she was there. Preferential treatment, that sort of thing. Wife said they actually tried to oblige her not because she was the governor's wife but because they figured the quicker they got her out of there the less bitching they would have to listen to.

They're all like that .......the democrats. It's just that the Clintons are a cut above everyone else.

I’m not defending Hillary by any means however, Bongino did not finish his career at the USSS. That to me is a huge red flag. Nobody leaves a gig like that unless they’re forced out. I don’t believe a word that comes out of his mouth.
horrible logic

Jesus fricking christ you people are delusional.
So which is it? We openly want that or Hillary was deceptive?
Deep state, corrupt democrats can go frick themselves with the Republicans as far as I am concerned.

I’m a retired Federal LEO. I know quite a lot about it.
Also, USSC Justices and the entire Federal Judiciary are protected by the US Marshall’s Service, not the Secret Service. FYI
My hunch is that he was pushed out of the agency and then tried to have a political career. He’s done pretty well for himself, all things considered. What he says about the Clintons is probably true. I’ve heard similar things many times before from insiders.

Secret Service is almost becoming as bad as Seal Team 6 in profiting off their service on the talk show and book circuits.

Then there are the details appointed to presidential candidates, which by design are temp jobs. SS guys are almost entirely former military. They leave the service for the higher pay grade and some like it. Some don't. There is, in fact, just as much turnover as there is with many other jobs, especially considering the physical expectations.

He actually said good things about Obama, so you can't really put his right leaning bias in this. Just seems like Hill is an ole hag.

Relative high up in military here as well that knew several SS folks. All said the same things. Bill, Bush, Gore, and especially Obama were pleasant people. Hillary is a POS to the core.
Perfect representation of today's Proggies if you ask me.

Hillary, yes. I have never seen any report of Bill Clinton treating agents badly.
