...or they will have bad optics and lose the midterms for being mean and abusive to women....
Well, I hate to tell the GOP, but this limp wristed crap they are doing today is more damaging to their own base and conservative voter enthusiasm than anything that being tough and showing a pair could do. Do the kind of voters who would be offended if we actually made this lying sack of shite show up, or shut up, really matter?

Newsflash: Dems will blast them for a “war on women” no matter how they treat the lying piece of shite accuser. Continually capitulating to her psychotic ramblings is maddening.

Couldn’t agree more. My Senators aren’t up this term, but Kennedy sits on Judiciary, and I would not be supporting him this cycle as of now. Because of this ordeal. I wouldn’t vote for a Democrat, I would just abstain. The GOP deserves conservative votes no more than the Democrats do.

Check out that HuffPo poll. Even Dem women don't find her credible. They can't sell this as anything thing other than the accuser refusing to give sworn testimony.

But I don't think their tentative maneuvers are because of the Dems, I believe it is because there are too many Republican Senators that are on the fence and they need all their votes. If they alienate just 2 of them, Kavanaugh will not be seated.
