Every single American owes $64,592. Including children. Therefore Trump.

A family of four owes over a quarter of a million. Obama alone added over 30 grand to every man, woman and child's debt load. We have been printing paper to finance and support much of the world. It's very simple, the USA must get back to producing and the rest of the world must support and protect themselves.

Everybody should just write a check and be done with it.

We pay in inflation; it's essentially a tax. We'll pay subsidies to offset the consequences of (cheap labor, other-Nation tariffs, etc.) tariffs, but at least the money stays here.
The effects of coming high-tech will be profound; likely change the whole economic dynamic in ways that will make current scenarios a moot issue. I have no idea how it all shakes out. A lot depends on the persuasive power of the good folk/leaders in our Nation. Storms ahead for sure.

Speaking of stupid crap, I paid in SS taxes on millions of dollars in earnings. The ridiculously small check I receive each month IS MY MONEY. Not some arbitrary dole out or welfare! Or what I loaned the government to post troops all over the world. Protecting those who rip us off in trade and protest the president who is trying to save and protect my family.

It doesn't take long for the withholding from my paychecks to add up to what I "owe", but our federal gov't is spending the new money and not paying back the old money.
