Manga is social suicide. I have never been to a bookstore and seen normal looking people in the manga section.

Granted the vast majority of people reading manga read it online or order it on amazon. Last semester I met this straight up dime in one of the sororities on campus. We didn't really have anything in common until she told me the manga and anime she would watch. It was a real social shock.
