Every time there was a major disaster that wasn't in NY or another rich lib area Obama was MIA but I guess since he's the fricking great black hope it's ok for him to be out on Martha's Vineyard while Baton Rouge drowns.

The right was stupid for attacking Obama for any little thing he did, especially the traveling aspect. I think President Trump really enjoys getting out the Beltway and being on the ground in a friendly place like Texas. It's important for people to see that the government is on top of things.

I can't speak to what you personally went through in the 9th ward. I am sure it was incredibly traumatic. But it is patently unfair to characterize President Bush as someone who did not care about those affected. He made a lot of mistakes as POTUS. But he is not an uncaring person despite the lies that have been said about him.
