I clearly don't buy the lies of the EU and you do.

If you don't buy their lies, why do you think the "lies" about the program are worth melting over?

You're doing what Placekicker did earlier

So you create a thread with interpretations of government action, and when the actual nuts and bolts of that action are given to you to analyze to show your emotional reaction was unwarranted, you dismiss the very information used to justify this thread (government action of the EU).

So, in your mind, Claude and ChatGPT were churning out propaganda in 2020 that has now proven to be untrue?

Unfortunately Americans have lazy retirement savings. There’s roughly $12 trillion sitting in 401(k)s. We need to put those assets to work by directing them toward the nation’s $1.8 trillion student-loan debt

You stated it perfectly. We see through their lies. You support them.

Wherever socialism, communism, liberalism, and globalism are threatened, SFP and Mo will be there to defend them and correct us unenlightened.

No. I’m saying that the politicians said a lot of stuff that wasn’t true. Back then, AI backed them up.

Not melting and clearly, I don't buy that it's a 'lie' at all.

What are you saying is not true about the EU plan? The whole thing? Part of it?
What is the mechanism in the plan or whatever that will turn this into confiscating everyone's savings on the continent?

I 100% agree we should be distrustful of government. But what we are talking about is not even remotely controversial. This is moving Europe in the direction Trump and the USA have been arguing they need to move. For example, without doing something like this proposal the likelihood of Europe being able to defend its own borders without our help is next to zero. They need a system more like ours, and this is a step in the right direction. It might be bullshite, they might not really be planning to do it or incapable of doing it. I could even see arguing that they are only announcing something like this to appease the U.S. Administration and will stop talking about in 2 years.
But there is nothing in the talks that even come close to a scheme allowing for confiscation of individual savings.

Put my savings towards someone else’s student loan debt? Hahahahahahaha.

That’s a very socialist perspective.

Luckily we don't need your permission. We can just outvote you and legislate your money away. Your retirement savings aren't merely yours, they're NATIONAL assets that aren't being properly utilized

Aren’t you the guy who said that the EU SIU is a case of the governments “running the banks”? I’ve got news for you, buddy, that’s retarded.

You’re getting better, but I’m not your buddy either. It wasn’t long ago when some geniuses in the US federal government thought it was good monetary policy to make home loans easier to get, then 2008 rolled around. That’s what happens when governments decide how the free markets should manage their money, and that was really retarded.

Wow, you actually articulated a valid criticism of some of these proposed policies. I’m proud of you. Of course some of the proposals aren’t deciding how markets should manage money, but rather removing restrictions that have prohibited them from doing what they would like to do.

Student loan debt…not my problem I paid for my college

Welfare recipients……not my problem…..

School taxes derived from property ownership….not my problem …I paid school taxes for 50 years and sent my kids to private Christian Schools….

Time to end the gravy train for all post Boomer generations..
