Pretty funny coming from France. Their entire culture over the last century plus has been one of submission.

I legit try to look at and understand both sides of the spectrum on political issues. No matter how hard I try, I can not understand why Americans are against deals that strengthen America.
It's crazy. It's as if American taxpayers and our govt has existed for half a century now to enrich/drive our "friends" and every global interest under the sun towards other peoples prosperity and agenda first before worrying about our own internal needs. And that our ruling class and American global corporations were not only "cool" with this arrangement.
Like pre-Trump nobody even gave damn that everyone in the EU was treated their NATO commitments as optional knowing the US was gonna always be there to pay up in full cost. Much less did anyone care or fight against EU practices such as the 15%tariffs and market restrictions they imposed on us at will.
Clearly it wasn't hard to be like "actually we are the United fricking States. Here are the terms. Take it or leave it. Don't like it? Ok we don't need a deal. We will just make it 50% tariffs if you don't agree to give us the deal we want."
Can't wait to watch Canada bend the knee next. Whatever we want economically we should pursue. God forbid they finally have to allow things like our dairy farmers for once being able to sell product to our next door neighbors. Hell, throw a fentanyl clause in too that punishes Canada harshly if they fail to stop both poison from entering our nation from the Northern border and the oppression of Christian Churches there

Even the school children of France must submit to their 40 year year old trans-ing teachers like good little obedient bitches and walk around in fear hoping nobody ever calls them an "Islamophobe" or something.

We were bribing the rest to the world, so we could control the world. Our leaders made a deal with other world leaders, that we would screw over the US taxpayer so we would control the world order.. JMO

Based on other articles it sounds like Australia could be next.

It feels like we still have the political capital to do that even after all the trade deals are in place.

Sorry Free Trade Bros, there is no such thing as Free Trade when private businesses have to compete with countries (China)
All of these leaders never mention the VAT which is still in place. 15% Tariff + sales tax = VAT tax

That's because the US never really had pure businessman as President before Trump. Right or wrong, Trump views the world/politics through a business lens. Always has. That's why it has angered him for long time (well before he became president) to watch the US negotiation/act from a "weak" leverage position. His general mindset has always been that the US is the richest, most powerful nation ("company") in the world. We want to work and get along peacefully with the rest of the world. But the US, with its leverage position, should NEVER agree to do so under terms that were unfavorable to the US because as the top business it doesn't have to.
You can be a strong/fair businessman and also refuse to get taken advantage of.
