What does this even mean? Is he saying that arrest %s should match the racial makeup of the city in which they happen?

quote:

And police forces should reflect the diversity of the communities they serve," Holder wrote.

So are they going to relax the standards on what it takes to become a cop?

For Eric Holder to go to Ferguson, MO yesterday and act like the problem is too many white policeman, that's depressing. We don't know all the facts yet, but 98% of what we do know seems to corroborate the officer's version of what happened.

But, Holder goes to Ferguson and talks like he believes the false accounts of some of the people, including Michael Brown's friend, who have said that Michael Brown was shot in the back while he was walking away.

So, why would Holder emphasize that "change is coming" based on a situation where the initial information appears to exonerate Darren Wilson?

Simple answer. Holder has an agenda. He apparently feels so strongly about his agenda that he will even use an incident that runs counter to his narrative.

But, that's the reality of the kind of AG we have. The kind of AG that Obama wanted. It's. A sad day, and the TRUTH continues to take one hell of a beating on Barack Obama's watch.

I'll say this; regarding past presidents, I've heard some black people say, "That man doesn't care about me." Well, whether or not their perception was correct, I now know how they feel. In fact, I think it's an even worse situation for me right now, because there's no doubt in my mind that Obama and Holder have agendas that not only run counter to my welfare, I think they have agendas which, if successfully executed, falsely identify me as being part of what's wrong with America.

Liberals, is this really what you voted for?

PS - and to think, a couple of posters here actually said yesterday that Obama should nominate Eric Holder to become a Supreme Court justice. When you hear people say that, don't think they are misinformed. They are very informed, they know exactly what Eric Holder (and Barack Obama) is all about, they see the agenda, and they are 100% on board with it.

It's a sad, sad day for truth, for justice, for fairness, and for America.

White cops can't effectively police black neighbourhoods. Got it. Does this also mean black presidents and AGs can't govern white people?

More evidence that this guy is not objective at all in his application of law.

For him, the AG's office is a tool for vendettas.

I would love to get more specifics on what he actually meant, but I have a feeling it's just lip service to try and make people think that the Admin will make changes that would somehow prevent this.

The bolded part should not even be an issue. They are setting the stage for anger and fear when this case against the cop goes nowhere.

There's a clear agenda with this article, and with many reports on Ferguson.

What does Holder suggest we do? Fire all white law enforcement officers because a city changes from majority white to majority black?

Is this because of the expectation that the black population will not listen to or respect a white police officer or that white people are all racist? Which one is it?

He's a joke, and he's not there to calm tension. He's there to fuel the anger and fear that was already perpetuated with irresponsible media reports and outside agitators.

Holder is basically doing what Obama can't be seen doing. Their goal is to instill a since of fear, anger, and distrust in the black community with the hope that they turn out in greater numbers during the mid terms.

This is the same shite he's been spewing about a disproportionate amount of black kids being disciplined in public schools.

As someone who is at the highest level of government, he can afford to throw out ideological nonsense like this and get away with it and he has also not offered any solutions to these problems other than to look the other way or simply appoint people who are unqualified simply based on their race. It really is the epitome of laziness.

Bingo!

I've stated on this forum several times before that it's Holder, not Obama, who needs to be impeached. He really is a despicable character.

If the senate stays the same, and due to circumstances happening in FL and elsewhere the Dems gain the house. It's going to get bad here.

What is blacks from the community aren't applying? Has there been any indication that the town will not hire blacks?

I agree, but to be clear, Holder is pretty much doing Obama's dirty work by fueling the violence, hatred, and fear around this incident.

They want this to be Trayvon Martin 2.0. They don't care what it does to the black community or racial tension in Ferguson (or in the rest of the country) after this cop gets off. They just want the outrage.

Easy to say...impossible to happen. So, Black folk in the Hood are going to arrest their own neighbors - many times facing violent reaction - and just go home at night and watch the tele.

Both Obama and Holder are so full of %&^*^, they can't see the realism forest for the idealism trees.

But they can ride off into their resume/legacy sunset with the 'we tried, but the racist rednecks wouldn't listen' delusion. God only knows what will happen to the Black brethren that they presume to 'lead'.
