W/o that 2nd amendment the 1st amendment would not hold. But god given right to burn is not the same as you right to express. You may have a legal argument to burn a flag if all other laws are followed but try and burn a restaurant and claim it is your right won’t happen. You Do Not Have A God Given Right To Burn Something. God gave you morals and a conscious but you are suppose to operate them

Agree with the OP. Brilliant! The optics are going to be devasting for the Dems. The blue-haired freaks and illegal alien sympathizers will be out in force, making the normal person choose who they want to be associated with. I assume the EO will get struck down, but the political ramifications of those images will pay huge dividends at the mid-terms.

You're right, a teenager in FL wasn't arrested for peeling out on a rainbow flag painted on a road, a woman in NY wasn't arrested for burning a gay flag, another teenager wasn't arrested for "stealing" a gay flag and burning it.
That's just three off the top of my head without even using bing to find more.

I don't think there is going to be a rash of flag burning.
Yes, a few isolated example will be spread around the echo chamber and amplified, but people burn flags regularly so it will be more reporting on the status quo.

Well yeah you can't damage the road or someone else's property. That's still illegal. But if you want to go get a pride flag and burn it responsibly following applicable fire laws and put it on YouTube for others to see....nothing will happen to you...which is as it should be.

Yeah. There is nothing saying you can't burn a pride flag so long as it's your pride flag and burning it doesn't break any other laws.
The idea that the pride flag is protected any more than the American flag is just MAGA fiction that they made up in their heads.
