Honestly, it's a great idea.

A guy I know started out with 1 dumpster during Harvey, he now has over 400 of them in the city and they are always getting booked.

Might hinge on whether it’s minority owned or not.

But that is pure capitalism: if one company can’t provide, someone else comes in to fill the need. What is wrong with that? NOLA is filled with Communists.

Trash hauling is big business where I live. Trell and Amanda may have stumbled upon a gold mine.

Wish 'em luck! New Orleans has long had a garbage problem and most of it managed to get elected.

I actually know of someone who tried to contact one of the existing private disposal companies to see about taking care of all the trash on their whole block, who was told that they were prohibited from collecting residential municipal waste in the city limits.

Sucks that people pay taxes for a service then have to pay for a private service when the service they are currently paying for doesn't actually occur.

Yeah happens in Dallas too. People in parts of the Preston Hollow area pay for extra security to drive around, especially when the tornado came thru a few yrs back, because DPD isnt able to manage the area. BTW - PH is City of Dallas richest area, full of multi-million dollar homes.

If the market defects a vacuum, the market always fills it. Government just does not understand how it works.

This is awesome and I wish them the best. The trash dash in Ascension has been great for the consumer the past few years. Because of capitalism the good folks at VTS exist with their vallet trash service. Dudes go in my backyard at like 3am and get the can, empty it, and put it back. They always give the Ring camera a friendly wave too. Best $30/month you could spend.
