The best you can do is copy my insult? Not only are you melting like an idiot, and dumb as a rock, but you're also unoriginal. Going to be a long four years for you buddy.

#1 It it’s not treasury’s role to “deny” payments instructed by Congress. That would be wildly unconstitutional

That simply isn't true. How.monies are disbursed and questioning whether recipients qualify according to legislative provisions is precisely their job. Not just them but they do play a role in that.process. they are not being paid 500k a year to rubber stamp documents. Use SOME common sense.

It absolutely is true 99% of the time. It would be unconstitutional for treasury as the exec branch to frustrate leg branch appropriations under train vs nyc.

there as some very limited circumstances when you would be correct and in those very limited situations i would agree with you but would also say we need more evidence than Elon’s word.

Yeah. Instead, we should just trust the Treasury Department completely.

Ridiculous.

nothing possible in between?

i’m totally open to questioning treasury or any department but there’s a way to do it that’s constitutional and there’s a way to do it that isn’t.

You asked for proof, he provided proof.

Why do you want to slide the goalposts over to keep your misguided disbelief relevant?

He provided a wildly incomplete statement which may have some truth and may not.

Asking whether or not those appropriations where shifted to other areas is completely fair and unless you’re coming here with a full accounting of each line item the you don’t know shite.

Sure, but right the situation has been at one extreme for so long that the other extreme is necessary.

you do realize that comes off as ideology over constitution, right?

we have checks and balances for a reason, or does that only apply when the other political sports team is in charge?
