I want to see examples made of these thieves. That's what it is: federal fraud, misappropriation of funds, blatant thievery.

We are guessing as a result of past performance/examples.

That's funny that you think that money went and stayed in the Ukraine. 90 percent probably ended up back into the DNC coffers

Did you ask for context on exactly where the money was being spent that we were sending to Ukraine.

We knew it was being sent to Ukraine, so...

I think shite like this is why so many people on TD have turned on you.

Doesn't have to be.

There are sba loans for refugees and other things too.

But a 52 second clip aint enough.

Fox link

Yeah $312 million in loans given to children during the pandemic.

Dead people also got loans. Probably voted too.

quote:

DOGE said it identified that the Small Business Administration (SBA) granted nearly 5,600 loans for $312 million to borrowers whose only listed owner was 11 years old or younger at the time of the loan. The loans were issued in 2020 and 2021 – while the world struggled with the COVID-19 pandemic – and it is unclear what they were used for.

quote:

"While it is possible to have business arrangements where this is legal, that is highly unlikely for these 5,593 loans, as they all also used an SSN with the incorrect name," the agency wrote.

"@DOGE and @SBAgov are working together to solve this problem this week," they added.

quote:

In one case, a 157-year-old individual received $36,000 in loans, the agency said. The loans included PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) and EIDL (Economic Injury Disaster Loan) loans

Should have just waved payroll taxes. But nooo.

That's a poor framing. A better framing is: "pearl clutching over items like this is akin to rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic."

It would be like if you earned $500K/year and were spending all of your time trying to figure out how your bank had somehow overcharged you by $50, while at the same time managing to ignore the fact that your long-term liabilities were ballooning by $125K every year. (These comparisons are pretty accurate in terms of scale.)

Tell that to people who lost everything and were handed $700 to survive on. And that's during cpi increasing over 19%.

Not a lib or Democrat, Eric, just someone who is not an unquestioning sycophant like yourself. Musk makes an assertion, he makes lots of assertions, yet provides no proof to his assertion to the public, thus attempting to undermine confidence in an agency that business depends on and banks appreciate .

I’m with you on this, kiwihead. If this is true there are criminals perpetrating it. Let’s arrest those criminals and start proceedings against them. Until then, it’s just bullshite. And I appreciate DOGE and Elon and what they are trying to do. But they are a lot like Pam Bondi, constantly throwing unsubstantiated stuff against the wall.

You are only asking for context to try and sound intelligent, which you are not.

It’s like asking which weapon was used on a murder victim, who gives a frick.

Back to personal injury you go.

It’s not .002%. It’s .002 or 0.2%. Just so your scale argument is in correct context, it’s $1,000 missing (not $50). Carry on!

Is this PPP fraud?

Just do like me and assume so until more info comes out if it does. You can use deductive reasoning, especially if you've ever gotten an SBA loan outside of the COVID period. SBA paperwork is a hassle to do, except when they were rubber stamping PPP loans.

So you want the SBA, an already small agency to handle gegular bank loans for businesses and student loans with a 40% haircut in operating budget.

No...of course not.

I want the government out of the student loans business entirely.
