I don’t know anybody who wants to pay a “fair market rate” for anything if they can get it cheaper. That’s the nature of capitalism.

I’m fairly confident I made the point: America has far too big of an element that have given up on the value of working your arse off and waiting for the gratification that comes from it.

And this is where you're full of shite. H1B Indians have a much higher IQ than Americans on average.
Is this supposed to be some gotcha? I am confused you think comparing H1B visa holders from India to the general population which more than half are not even college educated rather than to equivalent college level folks they are taking jobs from?
But of course, that doesn’t help you push a false narrative that they are somehow above us all and any question of their legitimacy here is just ridiculous.

I talked to a personal manager for one of these companies recently that said he came in to work one Monday and he had 20 termination slips sitting on his desk, most for petty reasons. Then he wondered where we can get more people? These industries are a nightmare to work in.
My last job hired me to start a department that didn't exist in the company before me, and then cut me lose after 7 months once they felt that I had all the frameworks and processes in place and they could cut me lose and replacement me with someone else to simply take what I have built and auto pilot it from there.

Slavery used to be considered free market capitalism
The fact of the matter is we have laws in place and its not free market capitalism to violate those laws in order to save a buck.

No. It's a fact. Because he lied.

And you're too stupid to understand the issue. Not a word of what you said is relevant to Lima Whiskey's comment, who was comparing average retarded Indians to H1B recipients.

You said nothing about violating laws, you’re insinuated that there’s something wrong with companies that want to make a profit. Of course they’d love to have cheap labor, just like you want to pay as little as possible for the things you buy. Are you greedy? Or is it just “them”?

Now an H1B is slavery.

You should have voted for Trump. He says he's going to enforce immigration laws.

I'm not sure you know what a fact is...

This is laughably false. G loaded tests eliminate any bias. The results are literally unassailable by any current science.
It in no way eliminates bias. Saying that is ridiculous, we know that brains that learn how to learn are better at most things.
I mean look at India, in India high caste people do well while low caste people don't. But once they come here, low caste people and their children turn out much better and are far smarter overall due to drive while high caste people start falling behind in the next generation. That's culture!
Those two groups are closely related genetically, there's no hidden gene that turns low caste people smart once they get to America, it's just no longer being held down by jackasses.
quote:
This is critical theory, and it's laughed at by real scientists. We've tried this ad nauseum and failed. UCLA medical school is in crisis because of it.
No, it is far too late in college. Brain development happens extremely early.
Critical Race thinks it's all because of racism, but it's mostly cultural learning environments.
H1Bs have High IQ because they are highly educated.
To prove it you would need to raise batches of 100 kids identically and show that there are indeed genes that always trigger intelligence.
That's never happened.

Companies exploit and violate the H1B process to get their H1B employees. They purposely make up fake job postings with impossible to meet requirements in order to say there are no qualified Americans for the job.
It's no different than employers hiring illegals with fake social security cards and not using E-Verify.

It’s not a fact. Are you telling me your facts (unsourced might I add) show that H1B holders from India have a significantly higher IQ than their comparative group of Americans when looking at their validity to be hired over said Americans?
Sure, they aren’t stupid people. They are intelligent, but that is not the point of the H-B system. They need to significantly out value from a skillset the American counterpart. In that vain, they in no way come close as a whole. It is an entirely abused system by pathetic excuses for companies trying to cut costs.

You don’t get to pick which part of your utterly stupid statement gets to be called out. I am not worried about Lima Whiskeys statement. Your statement is entirely an attempt to pump irrelevant stats to justify a premise. Get actually meaningful stats to make your arguments instead and maybe you can call someone stupid.

Fine, enforce the law. But that’s not what I responded to, I responded to you bemoaning the fact that they want cheap labor, as if that’s inherently bad. It’s not, it’s the most common rationale ALL people use when making purchasing decisions.

And make no mistake.
Labor is a commodity that is for sale and that is purchased.
And the same market forces work on it that work on any other commodity.
It's not some sacred thing that is or should be different than anything else.

If a single word of what you said were true, wealthy black children would destroy poor white children on IQ tests. But they don't. The wealthiest black children, on average have equivalent IQ's to poor white children.
Genetic heritability of intelligence isn't debatable.
I guess you're GenZ? You've been told everybody is the same your whole life and it's terrifying to you that it is all a lie.
We aren't. Vivek Ramaswamy doesn't have a higher IQ than you because he's Indian. It's because his parents were smarter than yours, and because of genetics, his children will probably be smarter than yours, despite the fact that most Indians are FAR from intelligent.
Smart parents make smart children. It's extremely rare for a genius to spring from average parents. It happens.

Oh, and the G loaded tests do almost eliminate bias. Saying this means you have never studied the subject and don't understand it.
IQ is mostly genetic.

Wealthy black children are part of a culture, a culture that does not prioritize education.
In the 1940-1960s the Black culture in Newport News and Norfolk was producing children who far exceeded the local white children because the parents all worked at Langley (now NASA).
That culture fell away once they moved out of Newport to escape urban decay.
Irony.

Maybe not in racist circles... It's very popular in India, but that's because they have the caste system and they want to believe it. Willfully Ignorant.

I guess quite a few things about you as well.

I don't know his IQ, but if he did I would say its because he applied himself more in childhood development, if it turned out that I have a higher IQ then I would say the same.
He's successful because he comes from wealth and was sent to an elite HS then pushed into an elite college where he made the connections that turned his wealth to more wealth.
That's life, good for him.
