Pretty sure the Native American diet was/is pretty sparce on dishes involving crab meat, mayonnaise, and cognac...

Crab meat. I've watched a lot of cowboy and Indian movies and not once I have ever seen Cherokee fine dining on crab meat. Are crab plentiful on the grassy plains? I wonder if there is at least one buffalo recipe in there?

I don't know...the Blackfoot were known for their flaky crusts and their crepes were legendary.

Well, Warren has way more French in her than Cherokee, so it was probably her just honoring her heritage.
