That's correct. No state, local, or federal taxes are charged. There is a 5 % surcharge to cover expenses. The BX at Barksdale had some products that were less expensive and would have sometimes have items not found in local stores.

If you steal from a government grocery store is that a felony or is that just how you shop in one, 'grab-n-go'?

Preparing us for what the future holds. It won't work, it hasn't worked (yes it has already been tried in the US), but it is coming.

Open govt food stores. Run the private ones out of business. Then they can have total control of what you eat and what it cost. And guess what, that low price is only there temporarily to remove the competition.

Yes this is one of the tools used as part of an overall strategy of convincing groups of people that they are miserable and that vengeance is the solution.

It could be race, it could be religion, it could be economic disparity, etc. Basically any categorization to be able to tell one group that another group is the cause of your misery and that if you join and get behind a particular leader that leader will hurt the group that made you miserable.

The USSR had a great idea with govt run stores. Modern supermarkets have everything you need in a large store. The USSR had a whole bunch of small stores each with a dept. IE, you go to the dairy store to get your milk, eggs and cheese. Then it's off to the canned goods store, then the meat market, then the cleaning products, etc. After 10 trips to different stores you've got everything on your list. It's a great way to find lots of jobs for govt employees!

Yes it will. This is how it works.

The set food prices so there is no evil capitalism involved. Everyone shops there because it is cheaper than wal-mart. After wal-mart Aldi etc go out of business there will be news reports on how the subsidies the gov't stores should be eliminated. So they either raise prices so the tax payer is not subsidizing the food prices.

At this point they have no competition or it never happens and the gov't store keeps getting subsidized and people with the means to do so go somewhere else that actually provides healthier food choices from the few brands that aren't part of the chosen DS woke brands.

This will not last as the gap between the rich and the poor grows wider as the middle class is wiped from the country.
