Which side is always harping about mass illegal immigration in a negative light?

FIFY.

But ending it would be a positive.

That side is harping because the other side doesn't want to do a damned thing about it.

I think he’s just crazy and his manifesto is a discursive mix of grievances...in nearly every instance crazy comes first, then the attachment to a reason or ideology comes second.

Where are y’all a facts? Jesus. The only photo he liked on His Twitter account was Trump spelled with guns. And if you read the entire manifesto and don’t just conveniently cherry pick a small section you will see his rhetoric is that if the current president and the Republic party. Don’t just keep blinders on and chose the paragraph that makes you feel better.

He killed Hispanics because he didn’t want them to take over Texas and make it a Democrat stronghold. That is the EXACT OPPOSITE of being a Democrat supporter.

Bet you didn’t do well on your SAT reading comprehension.

It’s completely possible the guy holds a myriad of views from both sides and can’t be 100% pigeonholed into being a dem or rep

Mafricka that's what I said from the beginning. It's the goobers that are obsessed with optics that want to put him in a certain camp

No matter many times the left says this it doesn't make it true. He wanted to kill anyone to keep the world from being overpopulated because he was a big believer in climate change nonsense.

He is a loon. His own father believes in spiritual healing and is a follower of the Church of John. His manifesto was all over the place just like the New Zealand shooter.

Quit trying to label him one party or the other. He is obviously a very confused individual and is now in custody. Most of the time these shooters either kill themselves or are taken out by law enforcement. Maybe he will start talking. Facts will hopefully start to come out. You might find out his own father had him on psychotropic drugs, that he had a damaged sense of reality, that he was radicalized by internet propaganda, perhaps he was radicalized by the right/left or any combination. We don't know the details and posters like JuiceTerry labeling him a Trump supporter do so with near-zero facts. Those labeling him a democrat do so by pulling things from the context of the Manifesto yet ignore other behaviors. He thought he could change the world through violence and death... that alone should tell you the level of his current sanity.

Quit politicizing and trying to group this into a party affiliation. It was a heinous, despicable act. The fact that so many are digging into his history looking for his party affiliation to have that "GOTCHA" moment is barbaric.

well stated.

you can have lots of "political" opinions, but the common thread between us all is that some laws, like "don't shoot a bunch of strangers in Walmart", are respected by (legitimate) members of both parties.

By doing what he did, he's estranged from either party, or should be considered so by both parties.

Wife and I have been discussing throughout the day. We are convinced that his connection to reality collapsed into and through first party type shooter games like COD.

Violent movies and music have existed for decades before video games. Violent books have existed for centuries. But video games are the problem.

Ignorant people blamed Death Race in the 70s. In the 80s, it was D&D. The 90s had Mortal Kombat. It was all the rage to blame GTA in the 2000s. Now, it's FPS games. Hell, they blamed pinball for criminality in the 40s.

Wait until VR games become more popular. Y'all will have a whole new type of gaming to blame.

Research has shown that video games do not cause a higher degree of violent behavior, and even Justice Scalia agreed.

quote:

“Psychological studies purporting to show a connection between exposure to violent video games and harmful effects on children do not prove that such exposure causes minors to act aggressively,” said Justice Scalia, writing for the five justices in the majority. “Any demonstrated effects are both small and indistinguishable from effects produced by other media.”

Agree. However, everyone here knows damn well that if the narrative they were pushing this morning, that this was alt right Trump supporters that did this, that very leftist frick alive would be pounding the war drums against conservatives and demanding Trunps head. The shift in tone, however, is that these mentally deranged shooters were extreme leftists. And so they switch tactics.

Just look at the posts this morning. Mmcgrath was a fine example of being the prototypical “blame trump, blame guns” douchebag.
