Last September, as record-breaking hurricanes thrashed the Caribbean and the southeastern U.S., the white nationalist magazine American Renaissance asked its readers a question: “What does it mean for whites if climate change is real?”

In its bombastic response, the magazine bucked two decades of conservative dogma to offer an ethno-nationalist take on planetary warming. Conceding that scientists might be right about climate change, it worried that shifting weather patterns could drive more black and brown people to the Global North, where whites will face a choice: stem the migrant tide or die.

“The population explosion in the global south combined with climate change and liberal attitudes towards migration are the single greatest external threat to Western civilization,” AmRen wrote. “[It’s] more serious than Islamic terrorism or Hispanic illegal immigration.”

White supremacists like Jared Taylor are pushing the far right to prepare for the reality of climate change, but they are using it to argue for stricter immigration controls to keep out climate refugees.
The magazine’s editor-in-chief, influential white nationalist Jared Taylor, doubled down on AmRen’s position in an email to Jewish Currents. “If continued global change makes the poor, non-white parts of the world even more unpleasant to live in than they are now, it will certainly drive more non-whites north,” Taylor said. “I make no apology for…urging white nations to muster the will to guard their borders and maintain white majorities.”

The desperation in the right wingers is both ridiculous and unnecessary.

He killed to reduce the population because of climate change. Says it basically verbatim in his manifesto.

He killed to fight climate change. Says it exactly in his manifesto.

I always knew the alarmists from the media would eventually lead whackos to take a life or death stance.

He killed because he was worried the USA would turn into a one party state due to Texas becoming blue because of mass immigration

The only thing he disagrees with leftists on is the importing of every citizen of other countries.

Because of his belief in the leftist dream of UBI, Universal healthcare, $15. minimum wage, etc. Maybe he knew that letting in all those illegal criminal aliens would, for sure, make that utopia unattainable?

This thread has become absurd.

The guy clearly had wild and extreme ideas that spanned the spectrum of political leanings. None of it matters.

He killed because he thought illegal immigrants would use too many resources causing climate change and because he thought it would make universal basic income and universal healthcare impossible.

I actually read the manifesto. It's all in there word for word. You clearly havent read a word and shouldn't keep commenting out of total ignorance.
