So we can only talk about the negatives on the economy?

Are you just going to ignore the fact that the poster to whom he responded had cherry picked nothing but rosy sounding stats?

What sort of miserable person only wants to talk about the negatives?

When the negatives far outweigh the positives, or the negatives are far more impactful than the positives, it matters.

it's certainly contributing to the inflation everyone is bitching about now.

We discussed that, and put it to bed in the other thread. Now you're making the same claim here?

2 wars just started...billions given out we don't have

The wars have little to do with our economy.

Inflation is due to the Federal spending beginning under Trump and exploding under Biden. Trillions were put into play.

The money went to businesses, state and local governments and directly to citizens and yes illegals.

Jobs were wiped out only to be “recreated” at higher wages and salaries. In a sense people had to be paid to leave home via higher pay.

None of what we are seeing would happen without big brother first destroying the economy and then trying to rebuild it by printing money.

That would certainly be a standard explanation.

But in this instance, the DXY indicates otherwise.

Oil production is at an all time high and we've never been in a better position in the energy sector as a whole.

So funny seeing a liberal brag about that. oil production is up in spite of the Biden administration’s efforts to hurt it, and I guess now they are going to brag about it going up.

Imagine defending Joe Biden’s energy policies? That’s a special kind of stupid

No. I clearly stated we should talk about all of it

Bard did a great job of providing a more thorough picture

I don't support Biden or his attempts to curtail domestic production

My only point here is it doesn't seem to matter much at all. He is limited in what he can do to stifle production which is driven by the private sector.

I’m glad you and fellow supporters in This thread truly love corporate oligarchs..

If this is the economy the media and people love then we are sunk.. small and medium size business is being eaten alive but go ahead.. kinda ironic considering the left’s distaste for corporate profits, record monetary profits at their hands due to inflation and government floods of money..
