"The FBI also has bank and financial records and various electronic documents."

DOJ/FBI are leaking anything just to make this guy look bad IMHO

My response is SO WHAT but crap like this is what the FBI/DOJ do to make someone innocent look guilty as sin. It is ridiculous because it corrupts the process.

They might have found a big orange dildo but it doesn’t mean any of it belongs to them.

Its CYA leak. Mueller's little charade didn't play over well and the FBI is getting heat over it. So they start leaking...

I think the point is they're trying to make another case besides the perjury/obstruction/tampering case. You don't need bank records for those. Plus they're still trying to get testimony about Stone in the grand jury which also implies they're looking at a superceding indictment.

Just when we think this investigation is winding down, they raid someone and obtain new leads for more “crimes”. Just like when they raided Cohen.

There will be an extension. Anyone wanna place a wager?

I don’t think the east bay times knows how much a terabyte is.

No leak. This was a filing to Judge Jackson asking for an extended timetable given the amount of data on the hard drives.

Hopefully terabyte was used to catch a leaker. Not a very common word.
I can dream.

This is worded to sound bad.

It really doesn’t mean dick. The FBI could raid me at 4 am and seize my checking account records. That doesn’t mean I’ve done anything illegal.

Dunno, Bonds. Worst case scenario is a conspiracy charge, I figure. Next to that would be some campaign financing violations or financial crimes since they've been looking at some old associates with super-pacs. It could, of course, just end up with the current charges.

Right.

The bank info could be 1 KB and get Roger sent to jail and the remaining terabytes benign as a puppy dog.

Well they could raid about any American house and find at least a terabyte of information. That doesn't mean one kilobyte is relevant to anything they could prosecute.

Man, it is a good thing they got him before he could destroy 30,000 emails, eh? Oh wait that was someone else.

Don't lose hope, Bonds. That conspiracy could be collusion. And it looks like Stone had iCloud like Manafort and sometimes older dudes may have things (say encrypted texts) backed up they didn't mean to.
