Probably winning 2-3 dem held seats (ND/MT/IN)
Missouri is a definite bet and McCaskill is good as gone.
That state has swung crazy hard to the right the past few years.

Probably a reaction to the kooks ruining their university

Yeah, she has a tough fight ahead in MO. MO has always been a tad strange electorally though. And 2018 has the makings for an unusual election, either way.

The republicans should gain some seats in 2018. If they just gain 4+ seats with pro Trump candidates and things will start getting done. Democrats will hype about how much they will win . It will be interesting to see how many seats change .

Those polls suck. No way Mandel is that far ahead of Brown in Ohio.
Repubs will manage to nominate a few Akin/Moore types and blow a few races they should win.
House more interesting.

The forces at work in our country will overwhelm the historical trends. Winners - Losers should be easy to predict.
East coast/west coast states with large population centers - Dem.
Everyone else (barring SW states & Illinois) - Repub.

Isn't Mandel a bad candidate in Ohio though?

I have been predicting 6-9 seats for a while
will be even better if we get a few outside of establishment control

I count two open seats, Tennessee and New Jersey assuming Menendez goes away.

How Montana and South Dakota have Democratic Senators is beyond me.
Montana had unions with the mining industry, and S. Dakota is a holdover from the old DemocraticFarmers/Laborers Party from the late 19th early 20th century, influenced by socialism in the old countries, Sweden, Norway etc.

Why does that map have a D incumbent in Tennessee?
