why wouldn’t the Dems have already pushed it out???

Several theories on this, the most popular being mutually assured destruction.

I don’t think Trump is necessarily a pedophile but I think he could be complicit as anyone else who rubs elbows with celebs and politicians.

I’d love to see the FBI’s audit trails dating back to the raid. If anything is missing, there would be people accountable for that whether what’s missing still exists or not.

This is the level-headed take.

Durbin is an imbecile. I'm sure his trusted source is unimpeachable.

Nope.

But the folks who’ve convinced themselves DJT is actively hiding something will even use a Durbin if it helps advance their narrative.

There’s one little flaw with the mutually assured destruction theory. The Democrats’ full fledged belief would have been that using that against Trump would’ve led to a guaranteed Harris win. Thus, their use of it would have completely nullified the idea of mutually assured destruction. Because if they use it to beat Trump, the Democrat would then have full control over “the files” and whatever happens to or with them, and Trump obviously would have no access to the information not ability to use it. Can’t have a one-sided mutually assured destruction scenario.

Yea but there are people on both sides who know what is or isn’t in the files.

Epstein was raided & apprehended in August 2019.

Democratic admin from 2021-2025.

Regardless of what did or did not happen in that time, the most important piece is that the FBI is supposed to have robust audit trails & audit trails for audit trails. If they don’t, or if they didn’t — then that’s demonstrable and there’d be someone to blame for it.

Look for them to appoint Matt Gaetz and have the venue moved to Florida.

I think they will hold Gaetz for special prosecutor of Russiagate. I see Tulsi just lit that fuse.
And since they illegally searched in Florida the venue could be moved there, preferably somewhere in the Panhandle

But that’s presuming that there’s something to actually cover up. Could be that they’re trying to avoid revealing sources and methods information that, we would all agree, is of utmost importance to keep effective given the significance of effective investigations and operations in this issue of top ranking importance, obviously meaning fighting child sex trafficking and such. Yes, some folks will roll their eyes at that, but sources and methods is pretty critical.

And this one is pretty significant too: what this boils down to is “Show me everything or else it will be assumed that y’all are corrupt and covering up potential illegalities,” and how will this not create the precedent and open the door for that to have to be available to happen in every single case, big or small. There will be an argument for it whenever people want to make it, and the tactic to force it to be done is to make enough noise. That can be scrounged together in every case. Literally every case.

These are just considerations.

I wish people would stop calling me that. Yes, obviously we have similar names and that guy was a terrific poster. But I'm someone different.

Maybe. Equally plausible that isn’t the case & this just gets memory-holed.

But maybe. Funny thing is this would be a smarter public story than what we’ve been hearing, true or not.

Could be. Time will tell. I just feel like it would be poetic justice for Gaetz on this Epstein shite considering what they put him through.

I guess Durbin is the first “big named” senator that the democrats could find that wasn’t included in the keyword lexicon that the agents had to flag. That way he could claim innocence of the concept and could be used as a mouth piece…

Can’t wait till they release the “Trump” file on the Epstein material in which it has highlights of “Trump send letter banning Epstein from all properties”, “Trump threatens legal action on Epstein due to employee complaints”, and other similar items.

It should be obvious that this is another half cocked hit piece when they don’t have any of the “flagged” items only the idea that the FBI had a “Trump” keyword to flag files…

Once again, if there was anything that ties Trump to Epstein in a negative light, it would have came out in the previous 4 years….

You’d think that what you described there was such a matter of common sense, so obvious, so basic, that it would quash the chirping about Trump being on “the list” with the quickness. But not only does it not do that, they are even 100% sure he is. You can read it plain and simple, right here on the board. What can you really even do with folks with this thought pattern? You can only go downhill from here.

No matter what anyone thinks about all the Epstein shite, if there was anything damaging Trump in the files, it would’ve been released already. There is 100% no doubt about that.

The other side of this thing says that’s a laughable notion. 0% chance.
