I happen to agree. ("Social experiment" was the characterization of the dude.)

IMO this is a propaganda exercise masked as "entertainment" to demonstrate how much "fun" surrounding yourself with AI "friends" could be -- "See? It's SO MUCH better than having human friends!"

(check out some of the more recent vid featuring the AI GF interaction. This AI-"companion" stuff's destined target-group is sadly the lonely and friendless.)

Just wait til they offer a plug and play hookup where the whores all have one of Elons Neuralink implants and they let the AI girlfriend take control for the length of the session so you can consummate the relationship without having to frick a robot.
