Well,I live in La and 99% sure a R will win.

Absolutely, a Repub will take LA. Times were different, but here are LA's election results in the presidential elections since 1992:

1992: Clinton 46 - Bush 41

1996: Clinton 52 - Dole 40

2000: Bush 53 - Gore 45

2004: Bush 57 - Kerry 42

2008: McCain 59 - Obama 40

2012: Romney 58 - Obama 41

A solid, conservative Dem would have a fighting chance in LA, but unfortunately the national party currently caters a little too left for LA's taste.

I think it is an absolute certainty that she will run. Nothing she has done in the past year says otherwise.

Everything in the past year should give her pause, however.

And three times better off if the Tea Party had not hijacked the Rs.

You are so full of shite. So we're just supposed to allow the Republican party to become Dem-lite. bullshite, the Tea has forced the party back toward fiscal responsibility and smaller government.

Actually I'm not but I don't usually discuss bowel movements in public. The Tea Party is too extreme--that's why most people dislike the Rs more than the Ds in Congress. Right now the Rs look like they are having a civil war, that can't help them on a national election scale. People don't like extremes on either side of the political spectrum.

I think LA goes R. Though the latest polls show Hillary running neck and neck with Rs in LA. I think as usual those states that went red last time will do so, those that went blue will do so. They'll be about 4 battleground states that will decide the election.

You're right. There is a civil war, but you're wrong about "extremes". You can't get much more extreme on the Left than what's already in power right now, yet people didn't care about that during the elections. They voted appearance, not policy.

But the R's are divided, because the mainstream Republicans have drifted so far left that they are almost indistinguishable from the Democrats and they are more concerned with having a seat at the table than they are about being in the head seat.

It reads better if you don't take it out of context.

Can you give me an example of where the Republican party has drifted left? I'm not trolling, I'm serious. I can't really think of anything. The rise of the "Tea Party" was a reaction to Obama, not the Republican establishment.

If this was factual:

quote:

R's are divided, because the mainstream Republicans have drifted so far left that they are almost indistinguishable from the Democrats

...then the "Tea Party" would have shown up a lot sooner than the Obama administration.
