I guess their thought process is a) I get my fifteen minutes of fame and maybe a go fund me bonus, or b) I get roughed up or wasted by some evil cops (secret service) and become a martyr. They take it lightly without any consideration for the actual legitimate security concerns presented. Will see more and more copycat instances, and probably bolder actions. Morons. They need to throw the book at these people.

My what federalism has done to us.
Was not that long ago the President was accessible to the people and expected to obey all laws including traffic ones.
Now they are God Emperors and citizens should be shot just for getting close to them.
