You can work hard, buy the team, then put yourself in the game.

I don’t think Drew is a liberal. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen pro 2nd amendment quotes from him, and I believe he visited Guantanamo Bay and was in favor of keeping it open.
Sean Payton is a liberal.
Sean Payton is a liberal.

If you work hard enough you can learn where to properly place the apostrophe in "Brees' kids".

Quote from Brees after Will Smiths shooting.
“The problem,” said Brees, Smith’s teammate for seven seasons, “is New Orleans perennially is way up in these homicides statistically. We become desensitized to it. And so many people die, but we pay attention when it’s Will Smith; that forces so many people who wouldn’t normally deal with it to deal with the reality of a terrible thing, the gun violence in the city.
“People are going to make arguments now about gun control. And it just seems to me … This is about the way … the way human beings treat other human beings
He doesn’t call for gun control in this instance, while Sean Payton definitely was.

Except his kids won't have to...

fell like liberals hate this statement and disagree with it.
Here is another Brees quote:
quote:
Why can’t we just work to resolve some of the problems that our country has and the rest of the global economy has and [focus on] ways that we can help
Doesn't sound like a very Trump like nationalist agenda.
quote:
you work hard enough you can be and do anything in life.
He just said that after breaking the all-time passing yardage record. He was feeling good and wanted his sons to know that they are capable of anything. I don't understand why you would try so hard to politicize that

My Mom gave me a sign that hung in my room:
All things cometh to he who Waiteth, If he worketh like hell while he waiteth
I don't know what happened to that sign but it is a good one

I haven't watched a second of NFL since they started the protest. Screw those guys

True story. Have had Brees and his entire family behind me in security at Armstrong international. They flew southwest when going on a bye week trip at a point where the guy was probably pulling 30M a year with endorsements. That always impressed me.

Bree’s kids are rich White privileged kids who didn’t work for what they got
Neither did drew brees. They let him win the super bowl because pro sports always lets the team with the big disaster win the next season to improve ratings

He's definitely pro-union ... so long as he is at the top of the union food chain.

I broke my NFL boycott to watch Brees
I did too. It was worth the traitor feeling I had for watching him break the record and hearing him make this statement to his kids. It was not about earning money, it was about him being 5ft 10 and still being a great quarterback despite people saying he could not make it.

I broke my NFL boycott to watch Brees; much admire the man. He supported some kneelers; but He's closer and knows/respects their sentiments, even if He (privately) knows they are simple minded.
Brees as a person and his struggles and now victories are what the nfl SHOULD be about. But there’s all that other shite mixed in there as well.
