They and others (mostly ME interests) also heavily fund CNN and other news channels, which have to seek their help to stay afloat.
ALL of our media and entertainment are filled with propaganda from hostile foreign interests. That is so much bigger of a deal than made up bullshite, trying to punish a chicken restaurant for nonexistent thought crimes.

Yeah, they are using a movie about a magical Abominable Snowman who plays with little kids to advance their economic agenda by putting a map in it with dotted lines. That's what they are doing.
Guess what.... nobody ain't gonna even notice it.
There is a pretty good chance that a more standard, more "world-centric" map was drawn in the first run. The all-noticing Chinese censors spotted it and insisted the map be changed. And the animators/management caved on that.
Why do many of the 'lines in the sand' our enemies make, and the Left makes, get chuckled at by the middle and the right?
This is called incrementalism. Sixty years of it has brought us here.

It's possible the 1% you disagree with is of such importance, it's worth completely avoiding the entire movie.
I'd have thought someone with your particular disposition for cocks would understand the concept of a "spectrum", but I guess not.

And this small picture with dashed lines that probably appeared in the movie for a matter of seconds and that 99% of people wouldn't have even noticed is reason enough to boycott the movie?
