What are the numbers compared to normal Americans, you know, not the ghetto rats? When you have a rather small percentage of the population committing massive amounts of crime, the numbers are skewed. I'm all for trading the good immigrants for shitty natives.

This qualification makes no sense at all - Seems like is it purposefully eliminating the very group that is most inclined to commit crimes.
AND - what does it matter anyway??? There should be ZERO people in our jails who have committed crimes - IF those people were not here to commit the crime.
Remember the left wing mantra of "if it would save just one life?" === they use that bullshite incessantly to encourage any cockamamie policy that they dream up.

If ONE American citizen was killed by an illegal alien - then why do we tolerate illegal aliens in the first place??

I would take that option in a heartbeat - you could go to any inner city school and start rounding them up to send south (or north or east or west) in exchange for 'good' immigrants. We can just sway their citizenship on a one-to-one basis.

I haven't seen anybody ask this so far but my question is, how many of those DREAMers who committed a crime were deported instead of incarcerated? It seems like that would affect at least some of those individuals committing crimes and thus lower their overall incarceration rate.

For example, in assessing a DREAMer's relative criminal likelihood, the comparison should be among the general population, not among those incarcerated. To illustrate, we know incidence of criminality generally trends down with increased education. About 40% of the US working population is college educated. Whereas only about half the number of DREAMers (22%) are.
So population stats suggest DREAMers would tend to higher levels of criminality. Whether they actually do or not, I don't know. But the OP stats appear heavily manipulated, aka suspicious.

I realize that some on the right talk about illegals and committing crime a lot but frankly, I don't even consider it relevant.
The relevant thing is simple. We should enforce our borders and, we should have a MERIT based immigration system since there are easily 10 people who want in for every 1 that we can realistically take.
