I really dont have a good answer.
I can accept this but you really think kids should be allowed to be exposed to this kind of thing in public? We already have plenty of laws that address "adult restrictions" on the presence of kids for things like this...
It would not require laws if the general public would demand this kind of thing stop...

Serious question, what about that statement makes me a bad mom? I try to expose my kids to people who are genuinely good people regardless of their political leanings.
Genuinely good people don't want others to subsidize their lives.
Genuinely good people don't clamor for more gun laws after every mass shooting.
Genuinely good people don't vote for a pedophile who sexually assaulted his daughter in the shower and gropes little children.
Genuinely good people don't vote for a guy who says he will have an open border, and give "free" healthcare to illegals who give our country the middle finger.
I could go on and on.
Those people should be kept away from civilized people.

I'm against laws, but I sure am not against calling out parents who push their children into early sexualized situations.

Fair enough.
Where do we draw the line on sexualization specifically then? Only when men dress up and perform sexually suggestive routines? Or do we extend that to Rhianna, Beyonce and Elvis?
Again, I am not advocating for drag shows to be all ages. I think they should be limited to bars with 21+ admission. However, once you wish for govt involvement you open the door to more than what you asked for.

Most parents wouldn't or didn't take elementary age kids to any of these shows.

This is the correct answer. As a society we have that choice. I advocate for making those choices. Support your virtues through all available avenues. Boycotts, choice for residency, school decisions. For instance, if no one ever went to that bar again, your problem is solved.

If something like this came to my kids school or any other place my kids frequent I would put a stop to it because that is a part of parenting.
But it does, when kids that are sexualized by their parents go to school with your kids and they start to introduce it to them. No different than trying to avoid having your kid hang out with certain kids, because you know their parents have introduced them to things that don't mesh with what you want them to learn.
Why teachers in places in CA are getting fired if they don't agree to hiding/lying to parents if their child is being mentally "transitioned".

bullshite. Lots of genuinely GREAT people voted for Trump. He said a lot of dumb things and partied with hookers, drag queens and blow all over studio 54 and other NYC landmarks. Lots of genuinely GREAT people voted for Biden and he is the most gump of them all. You are probably a great person and dont vote like me but you take care of your family, neighbor and community. You likely contribute to society and care about others. You are more than how you vote and your worth is not determined by your political thoughts.

I'm not sure. I just know that a line currently exists, fuzzy as it may be, so pretending (not you necessarily) that we can't draw a line at all is sophistry.
It's very similar to the 20+ page we just had on age verification for porn, where people insisted that because some forms of moral legislation are bad ideas they're all bad ideas, which is also sophistry.

I remember Jim Morrison, GiGi Allen, and a few others arrested on stage for indecency. Where are those laws? Couldn't they simply be enforced now?

Sad how protecting kids from sexualization, as a society, is now "deeply entrenched ideology" by "Zealots" according to the board lefties. What an embarrassing testament to their upbringing.

That's why I said earlier that this sort of enforcement is inherently subjective, because it's going to be in general terms like "indecent" or "obscene". Subjectivity in the law is generally a bad idea but sometimes necessary, because you cannot possibly list everything that might be considered obscene.
So to answer your question, assuming those laws are still on the books they could be enforced IF enough people thought what was happening was obscene. And that's assuming it's a law the DA cares to enforce, because if Soros funded them it's a safe bet they won't. The political component is as big or bigger than the legal one here.

I agree. That subjectivity is the issue.
Sidebar: What was the show with Tom Hanks where he dressed like a woman with his roommate. It was in the same era as Tootsie...
