We recently toured schools along the Gulf Coast including Florida and Mississippi. I was very impressed with Ocean Springs. Not because of the academics only but it was more well rounded when it came to electives (ROTC and Home EC), athletics, and inclusion. We are in one of the top ranked districts in the country and have never seen the issues presented in this thread but it is homogenized. The diversity in skin color is there but there is zero diversity in socioeconomic class. The literal definition of limousine liberal suburb.
