And sis, your “ghey” comment is not only lazy and sophomoric, it’s baseless.

Dont assume kinship, I was raised on the OT and will never apologize for the running jokes about Aggies and Corndogs...as a gump I have taken my licks too. I dont support the "pussification of America"nor that of tiger droppings.

I don't vote party lines and do not align myself with people based on politics. echo chambers are boring and one of my favorite posters is Roger and we are polar opposites. differences is how we learn from each other.

Dear Rapture, please happen soon.

Saint Paul told his church in Thessalonia that most of them would still be alive when Christ would raise them all into heaven. But he assured them that even those who had died will also be resurrected and go first into heaven followed by those like Paul who were still alive and they’d all rise up in spiritual bodies.

Paul may have been wrong. He’s not still alive, and he’s been dead for almost 2000 years. If he was that wrong on the timing, is it possible he was completely wrong and there will be no rapture?

1 Thessalonians 4:
13But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

Absolutely. I believe the envelope has been shoved far enough. And yet...NADA??

You're right on the other count; "bad parents" may well be a legal Social Services issue.

We cannot fall into the trap of letting the other side frame things as solely a "bad parent" problem.

There must be Obscenity Laws on the books that protect children AND community from the politicians AND businesses who together normalize these kind of sick drag scene and events. (What are the laws that prevent kids from attending Strip Clubs?

Coordinated layered perversions like coincidental humping and "Ooh-excuse me!" exposure, vulgar song lyrics, the sex-charged atmosphere -- and all things indecent and impressionable to kids -- under WHAT circumstance should any of this event be allowed?

Equally stupid.

An Aggie responding to an LSU grad (in a politics thread) with an iteration of, “you smell like corn dogs, what would you know?” would be equally dull-witted.

(and let me let you in on a secret: Texas A&M University isn’t a “ghey” school/environment, regardless of the Yell Leaders hate slung around by message board kids)

Obviously you’re free to post whatever you want; I just found the hypocrisy to be blinding.

Ahh. But this is where we get on the slippery slope. Who decides what is "bad" parenting? Do we want laws regarding what we feed are kids (we know refined sugars cause a multitude of health problems), or do we want the govt. telling us that they cant play contact sports because of potential injury issues, if they are out past 0100 should the law be involved? I know these do not rise to the same level but where does the law stop and parenting begin? The more govt intrusion we have the worse the situation gets.

Calm down, Francis.

I have never met a homosexual Aggie nor a LSU fan/student or state resident that smells like a corndog. I have met a few Alabama residents that were on the same IQ plateau as Forrest but thats for another thread. He assumed I was a "sissy liberal" who was "glorifying" drag shows so he got a like minded simpleton response by calling him a ghey Aggie. Low hanging fruit is low hanging fruit.

Somewhere I think there is a disconnect. I have been to drag shows as a young adult when avoiding straight bars while out drinking with female friends. It really wasn't an uncommon occurrence back then. Lots of girls went to avoid the pick up scene. I don't care about supporting the gay scene because, well, Im not gay. I simply stated that the shock value on news channels creates more allure than if it was ignored.

Take your wins with him any way you can. He's a little on the autistic side.

Hank is the resident expert on Trannies interacting with children. He once read an article about it, now he's certified.

I personally don't care what adults decide they want to be as long as they

1) Leave me out of it, I don't recognize the pronouns

2) Leave kids the frick alone.

Consenting adults can do what they please, dress as they please, take any drug they please.

@ "bat signal"...

Like clockwork.

Sure seems like Drag-Events-in-Public (w/"children" addenda) is his Iwo Jima or...Stonewall. The compulsion to defend such events and the unpopular position is a curiosity (Nobody ever claimed such defense is un-constitutional, Hank.)

Given the energy, devotion and commitment to this single crusade, one is given to speculation as to whose "honor" may be defended and at stake in these Drag Event cases. (Or maybe it's just a liberal "libertarian" defense of "principles" and practices of "Do What Thou Wilt Shall be the extent of The Law".

Serious question, what about that statement makes me a bad mom? I try to expose my kids to people who are genuinely good people regardless of their political leanings. I want them to love their neighbor and treat people with respect. Being intolerant of someone because of who they voted for is no better than being intolerant because of other beliefs, lifestyles or cultural backgrounds. Using terminology like trumper, dims, prog filth would get them in as much trouble as using an ethnic slur. What if I am wrong and other people are right? They need exposure to a wide rang of ideologies to determine their own moral fiber.

Thankfully parents knew better and didn't bring kids to the show per the story. Says someone saw some people that they guessed looked 16/17 for whatever that is worth.
