I would looove an explanation myself. One that included having to have kids at them.
Says something that we cannot get one for some reason.

Sexualizing children leads to more disorders than any other type of trauma they can suffer.
There's no reason to sexualize elementary school children under the guise of social justice. Its retarded in every fricking way.
This isn't a gay thing, there's a lot of gay people against it. Its a predator thing.
Exactly! This is a step to make pedophilia normal by leftist extremist. Bunch of sick bastards!

The bar is called The Bronze Dragon and features table-top games and decor with toys and stuffed animals.
During the show, young children were present. A drag queen humped the stair railing.
People handed out dollar bills to the drag queens like strippers.
Another drag queen performed to Kesha's Cannibal, with lyrics about dismembering boys, playing with their body parts, and eating them like "Jeffrey Dahmer."
The drag queen walked around pretending to slice people open with a knife.

Atta boy! Who gives a crap -- it's only OTHER parents' kids forced to attend these inappropriate events. Nothing to get bent outta shape over; after all, children are now routinely getting groomed, traumatized, and exposed to obscene settings IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS and LIBRARIES. What could go wrong 10 years from now?
And...and...It's not as though anyone NOT attending this vulgar event and sick festivities (like you, Hank and society at large) could possibly be adversely affected by the cultural sewage overflow.
Smdh...Un-frickin-believable takes here.

But why?
Because I was an adult who could make that choice. Thats what makes this country awesome. Children still should not be in attendance.

Not in the least but you are in full support of the grooming of kids, so no, I doubt I would find you to be a great person in real life...
All this "ignore it and it goes away" hasn't worked in the past and it will not work here... You obviously walk in that world and have different opinions but when it comes to children, I draw a hard, fast line and it doesn't move according to the whims of society...

If parents decide to take their kids to this what LEGAL course of action can you take right now?
File Lawsuits. Pressure upon local business and governance. Charges citing Obscenity. Indecency. Under-Age participation in ADULT themed events.
Some of these "performers" and organizers *may* be targeting and influencing *your* kids, grand-kids indirectly. That these kinds of sick-frick event are even allowed to this extent is tacit consent to keep spreading these events -- and keep ratcheting up the degree of obscenity and corruption or morals in communities.
There ARE also other borderline ways to handle this crap.

On the contrary. Drag was always meant to be a freak show exhibition. An oddities and rarities type of show put on by men who wanted to mock the gays and trans of yesteryear.
Drag is basically the trans "blackface", but liberals haven't figured that out....yet . That's why I laugh anytime I see you liberal sissys glorify these events. By all means, keep making fun of trannys and how ridiculous they look/act!
What in the actual frick are you talking about? Can you read?
Although you are an Aggie, so you would be the resident expert on all things ghey so carry on.

If you could quote where I support bringing kids to these events that would be great. I'll wait.

By performing for children they inevitably get more attention and at times even end up on TV or random websites where even more people see them in their elaborate costumes. Want it to go away? Stop caring. Ignore it. The pearl clutching a feigned horror feed the need for attention. Move on.
Pretty much your first post... "nothing to worry about guys, ignore it and it goes away"...

Drag shows are huge fundraisers here. The same old senile progressives keep trading them around.
I think they tried one story time and not many kids showed up, which surprises me since its a pretty left leaning city.
Most of the drag support here doesn't come from the gay community. Its the same old washed out progressives that need to constantly virtue signal. At least they realize its burlesque and limit it by age now.

Just a matter of time until one of them accuses you of chaining children in your basement. It is what it is. Reasoned discussion is simply not possible with some of these folks.

Again, how does that support or encourage children to attend an adult event?
You are so deeply entrenched in ideology that you are unable to discern basic english. I would never allow my children to go to a bar. Hard stop. Regardless of the event, they are not attending an adult establishment. But shower me with more judgement.

Interesting doublespeak.
And sis, your “ghey” comment is not only lazy and sophomoric, it’s baseless.

You apathy and acceptance of this crap is what allows it to continue to spread... It has nothing to do with the attention, so in essence you are in fact supporting what is going on, which is the grooming of kids...
Sorry that you are too close to this to see it for what it is but there is no other reason for drag queen story hour OR events like depicted here...
Good on you for not taking your kids but gtfo with the "ignore it" crap...

I hadn't thought about the fundraiser aspect. I bet those go on in the city all the time...My girls were born and raised here and have never seen drag queen/trans that they recognized as such.. If they did on Bart we just dont mention it. It's not a concept they need to think about yet.
But they also haven't seen a concert yet and we were highly selective before buying tickets to their first one in march.
