One invest in the market for long term growth. Down turns only effect stocks that are sold or bust.
This is a poor strategy for retirement aged investors! One should change the allocation of investments to more secure types. You should sue your financial advisor. Or blame yourself if this was your decision.
Of more importance to your retirement is the inflation rate of the last 4 years of Democrat rule.

I'm really not seeing a problem with any of the indexes. At 41,000 a 800 pt hit is negligible

I hope you are paying someone to handle your investments, because being hysterical over a drop when the Dow is up 1,988.63 year over year doesn't make a lot of sense and leads to stupid decisions. But hey, it's your money.

You can always come out of retirement. That bus will not drive itself. Tell Pablo to GTFO and take your drivers hat back.

You got shitcanned because your dock was running at 50% capacity while you, the supposed ops manager, played on your cell phone and posted on social media all day long.

Thanks Trump, you moron.

Good time to short it then. If you know what you're doing, you can make money no matter which way it's moving.

My financial advisor has been telling me for a year that the market would take a dive. The data didn't support the market. all the indicators pointed to this dip. He took me out of the market at the end of the year. Says we will get back in when the market adjusts.

Have fun with that tax bill

Look at lil Johnny, suddenly an international port authority expert.
Hows your sugar momma doing?

Serious question, unless you a degenerate day trader how does the week to week or even year to year fluctuations of a bundle of stocks affect your daily life?
Sure we all like to beat our dicks like apes when it goes up and our guy is in the White House and scream bloody fricking murder when it goes down and the other guy is in the White House.
But that magic number does not change whether I go to work today or my kid goes to school today or the sun is going to shine today.
I just don't get the hysterical melts over this.

No one has to be an expert to know you were probably 5% as productive as your employer needed out of you because you were too busy posting on TD every 5 minutes for 12 hours a day.

You have no clue when I worked and didnt.
Like a woman, you create drama, make up tales to feel better about yourself.
Such a weird, bitter take from such a pretentious little trust funder.

Tell me you don't have 401k without telling me you don't have 401k.
Do you take money out of your 401k to pay your bills and take vacations?
Seems like the taxes and penalties would have more of an impact than a temporary dip in the market.
For people who have a 401k as a retirement investment the market on any given day, week, month, year is literally irrelevant.

Everyone who's been on TD for more than a few weeks knows exactly when you worked. Which is never. You post on TD every 5 minutes for 16 hours a day.
Maybe your port would have been more productive if you put as much energy into your actual job instead of posting on social media. Ever think of that?
Posted on 3/13/25 at 10:45 am to tigerdup07
The wealthiest 1% of the population owns a huge lion's share of stock in this country, so you are upset that Trump is sticking it to the rich? :P
Posted on 3/13/25 at 10:46 am to BayouBlitz
This is what so many people don’t understand, when the economy collapses due to unsustainable debt it ain’t going to matter if you have a 401k or not so your objections to trying to fix the economy are moot.

More gossip from the women.
Lightweight Johnny. Such a pretentious liltle twink.
