Jones’ approval rating is the 9th lowest of all Senators. At 33 percent, the lowest approval rating belongs to Thom Tillis, R-North Carolina. Jones’ fellow Senator, Republican Richard Shelby, had an approval rating of 45 percent compared to disapproval of 29 percent with 25 percent undecided. Tillis went against the border wall when Trump needed backing at a pivotal time and got backlash and changed his vote. I wrote to him in several venues and told him he lost my vote as he came in on the tea party mantle and is a fake and went to the dark side of the GOPe.

I hope someone primaries him. We should all be sick of weak sauce that gets easily bought by the GOPe upon arrival.

Is there a chance Moore gets the nomination again? Do people in Alabama still support him?

He only got it last time due to a quirk.

And, even then, I suspect he'd beat Jones in an election year vote rather than a special election.

Of course, I don't think he'll get nominated..........which is good.

He does nothing but hang out and give speeches at that dilapidated hotel in Birmingham where King took all of his lady friends.

I know THIS person would never support Moore...he's unelectable.

There are two other guys with Byrne and Merrill that are better politically speaking. Tuberville would be my 3rd, only because he has no experience and I think Jones would rip him in a debate due to his experience.

I'm leaning Byrne at this time.

Rep. Gary Palmer may run for the senate as well. Will get my vote if he does.

These must be national polls, so are pretty misleading. Everybody hates congress, except for their own.

That being said, Alabama needs to do better. Saban has lost control of the Senate.

Moore is done. His campaign has only raised $14,000 over the last few months. No way he gets the nom.

I feel like Tuberville will get the nom. He is leading all fundraising at $1.5 Million.

So you wouldn't support him if he were the GOP nominee or you don't support him b/c he's unelectable?

Let me put it this way. If the rat living in the sewers ran on a (-R) ticket against Jones. I'd be voting for a rat. Simple enough?

If Moore wins the Primary (which I hope he doesn't), Jones will beat him again...even with my vote for Moore. He's tainted. The Democrats and Liberals made sure of that last election. Even some die hard Moore supporters have said they hoped he wouldn't run. But here he is.....

This actually makes no sense and I don't even like Moore.

Moore barely lost in a fricking special election with rape allegations all over the place.

Hell. He'd have won THAT election if Trump had been on the ticket too.

I mean, I think this is all for nothing because he is NOT going to be nominated. But in terms of pure politics, the Jones margin, given how that campaign went, was downright sad.

#1 Thom Tillis and #8 Richard Burr from North Carolina.

They better get their act together. I hope the dems don't flip the NC senate seats. Charlotte, Raleigh, and Asheville are all very liberal.

Why is cocaine Mitch so unpopular in Kentucky?

He has done a hell of a job under Trump imo

Wasn't calling you out, was just getting clarification on what I thought you meant

I do agree Moore is tainted even though he had minimal to do with said tainting.
