The ambassador wasn't available to the Indians so we sent a lower level diplomat to listen to them bitch.

India

India summoned US Chargé d’Affaires Jason Meeks on June 10, 2026, to lodge a strong protest over a US missile strike on the commercial tanker Settebello off the coast of Oman.  The attack left three Indian crew members missing and 21 others rescued, marking a significant escalation in New Delhi's diplomatic response compared to a similar incident involving the tanker Marivex two days prior.

Context: The US Central Command confirmed targeting the Palau-flagged vessel, claiming it violated an ongoing blockade on Iranian oil exports.

Diplomatic Action: India’s Ministry of External Affairs condemned the strike, citing the safety of civilian seafarers and calling for immediate de-escalation.

Ambassador Status: The US Ambassador, Sergio Gor, was not in Delhi, leading to the summons of the deputy chief of mission.

India keeps trying to run the blockade. We keep sending them "phooq you Dots, you're not special" messages.

End all H1-B visas to India.

I mean, how many times do they have to see someone try to run the blockade and have their ship fricked up before they get the hint?

Considering their population, probably a lot.

We cannot trust Dots ... never, not ever.

They are not our friends.

That they now control so many big tech companies in the U.S. is worrisome, on a lot of levels.

Militarily

National Security

Economically

Culturally

From a fraud and scam mentality perspective.

From an environmental perspective.

They have been closely tied to Russia and the USSR for years.

They are about waist they think the current best play is for them. Buying cheap Russian oil when the west is condemning the attack into Ukraine. Buying Russia weapons systems. Appearing cozy to the US when it benefits their interest. They are the sleeping giant with their population and now hands into US healthcare and tech industries….

Tell your tanker people to not try our patience anymore and they won't have to worry about getting their 'corpse' scraped off a bulkhead.

Nobody is our friends. Not really. And I don’t expect them to be, nor should we be to them

They way ive seen this argued is way back when, the US decided to back Pakistan over India in sone dispute. Cant really remember what that argument exactly was, but since then India doesn't view the US on as good of terms as like Russia
