I think this is a "toe in the water" moment for the other charges hanging out there. They know there will be some sort of outcry once Trump is actually arrested for something, hence the Manhattan DA getting security in line ahead of time. They'll see how this goes and get a clearer picture of how to proceed going forward.
And I think they'll find people aren't going to be all that up to putting their neck on the line for Trump anymore. More and more are wise to it not being in their best interests. He won't have their back.
