Update: I'm still correct and it's illegal for non-citizen to vote.
This lawsuit doesn't change that fact or argue non-citizens can legally vote
And when they do vote......there will be no standing, its too late to file, or what difference does it make, any of the three, am I right?

They are arguing that its against the voter registration act to remove people from the rolls within 90 days of voting.
But some states (I believe AZ )have same day registration,
Well aint that convenient....

The feds will argue the illegals get a noncitizen id number so they can file taxes with the IRS........and part of that process is to register them to vote.
Well if you set this up to make migrants, who obviously arent citizens, pay taxes, then you know they arent citizens, so why would you put it in the process to register them to vote??? We all know why. And someone in "the administration buried in the bureaucracy somewhere came up with this and it will be like a ganglion cyst trying to get it removed.

This is a tacit admission by the DOJ that illigals DO in fact vote.
You think they were letting all that scum in the country just for shits and giggles? That was their #1 goal to bring them in, give them money, and get their vote. It is sickening, and for the people on here that support that, I hope one of those illegals comes to pay a visit to your wife and/or daughter.

Remember when the Biden administration sued Texas because Texas was defending their border when the Federal government failed to do so? Same thing here, huh?
Joe Biden, "Cackles" Harris & all the crazy arse Democrats are hellbent to destroy our country.
Rember to vote for Republicans at any election. We must rid ourselves of the vermin!

Then why are they allowed to register and why would a lawsuit to keep them on the rolls even be considered? Let’s run this rabbit to the end instead of focusing on you making sure you maintain your precious supposed intellectual superiority.

It's illegal to speed on the interstate, but because the opportunity is there (most vehicles can attain speed in excess of the posted speed limit and there are no cops around apparently willing to enforce it), guess what happens?

It absolutely seeks to create an environment where it can happen. It's the equivalent of the DOT filing a lawsuit to prevent Alabama State Police from taking action against people with fraudulent driver's licenses.

SFP = equal parts supercilious asshat and disingenuous troll.
What tremendous entertainment he provides the board!

That's not necessarily true.
There won't be standing for lots of people (like all lawsuits), but there will be standing for the proper parties.

I understand. He brought up something completely irrelevant to this thread. I agree.
That was the point of my post, to display the non-responsiveness and irrelevance of his comments to this particular thread.

How is being right being a troll? That is a weird way to describe that scenario.

Who are the proper parties?

That depends on the basis of the lawsuit at issue and the parties themselves (a state can't sue another state for allegations about the defendant-state's alleged voting issues, for instance).
All 50 states have specific codes for challenging election results.

So no one really has standing to challenge an illegal alien voting in an election? Are election officials the only ones or can a poll watcher? Or is it that no one can have standing?

Why do y'all keep engaging with this asshat?

Exactly.
And contrary to SFP’s comments quoted by Fester above, the primary purpose of this lawsuit by the DOJ is to erode the distinction between legal citizens and illegal immigrants.
Yet we now will enter that part of the thread where SFP will 1.) either start his crawfish dance or 2.) flat-out deny he said what he said.
All the while, he will imply we are too dull to consider his finely tuned arguments!
