Damn, I must be doing something wrong.
I can’t even get Medicare to pay me for some operations I’ve done. Even when we’ve gone through the whole pre authorization BS.
other times they’ll pay me, then randomly decide 8 months later that I didn’t check some box on a random form like they wanted, allegedly, and take the money back.
No explanation. No appeal. No real recourse. Just a big fat frick you.

This would be the extreme fringe of any possible fraud. Most doctors that prescribe pain killers don’t accept Medicare. That’s boutique clinics that only accept private insurance and of course the cash only places but those operations are not nearly as widespread as they once were.

There was one in Little Rock that did it for decades. Finally got his arse. There's an Ortho I know of that does this. They are protected minorities and seldom are punished.

There are plenty of pain management doctors at ortho clinics who accept medicare.

Wrong is it isn't Elon and it isn't Congress, it is up to the president. These specific payments never went through congress. The money was given out to thru a series of transactions to NGO's that have zero over site on who they give the money to.
