Angry? No, because this is to be expected.
I'm tired of Trump, but what Trump has made me aware of is the fact that Progressives would jail their enemies if they could. That is their wet dream. Every leftist that posts on this site would support it, but only a few are brave enough to admit it.
I can't say it enough: the left wants anyone that disagrees with them fleeced, jailed, and ruined for life.

“They” aren’t doing anything to Trump that he hasn’t literally asked for by his utter and complete disregard for the rule of law.

I think every POTUS and VPOTUS (probably SCOTUS and Congress as well) should have to undergo full mental testing buy 3 independent qualified doctors to clear for a run for office.
You really want to clean up DC, start with a clean bill of mental health of its leaders. Put some faith back in the hands of the voters to get out and vote.
I could care less if we had an ugly POTUS as long as he was best qualified to actually do the job than just be a face puppet for some faceless Beltway Boy or Cliff Dweller that never has to stand for election and face the actual taxpayers.

Your problem is you are trying to have a dialogue with someone who is in a cold civil war with you. He would gleefully have you and yours put in jail tomorrow if he could.
Being a normal, rational person, you wouldn't jail someone over political differences. That's the difference between you two.
He is doing what it takes to win this war. He is going to defeat his enemy. You are trying to rationalize and come to a peaceful agreement with your (unrecognized) enemy.

I don't agree with him 100%, but I do believe that he is BEST for the country and BEST suited to handle international diplomacy.
The lunatic fringe that exists has manipulated the current weak-minded Populus into a hive mind of anti-American cultural and political norms. This has been intensified against Trump through their gross manipulation of mass media and the legal system with their puppets.
In all of this, Trump still pushes forward through the absolute shitstorm of opposition. Quite frankly, it mirrors old-school American grit and determination which was a virtue that made us great and admirable. He could pay up, bow out, and disappear rich and happy somewhere remote away from all of this filth and slander, but he continues to push forward. It is inspirational to me to see someone deflect such a hostile and despicable onslaught that is unparalleled in modern times.
