Does anybody actually know WTF is going on in Ukraine?

Despite a shite ton of media coverage, how many people know anything about what is actually happening there?
Over the past few months there are no specifics about anything. We get a lot of vague stories about supposed troops movements and regions in conflicts. We get fairy tale anecdotes that sound like they were completely made up to be feel good war time propaganda.
We get also stories that seem to completely contradict each other.
We get stories about Russia bombarding cities and Ukraine barely hanging on. But at the same time we got stories about how Ukraine is kicking Russia's arse and Russia is on the run and barely hanging on.
The lack of specifics is just mind blowing. Surely something is happening there. For a modern war the lack of concrete information is really odd. Don't we have satellites watching everything? Don't we know exactly where the battles are and the troops are? Aren't there reporters on the ground with cameras and stuff?

The reporters on the ground left after the ratings started declining. The Institute for the Study of War puts out a daily summary of what has been going on if you want to see what is actually happening.

Yes but the people who control these systems use them to lie, fuel propaganda, and push bull shite political narratives.
That goes for all sides.
Our government and media lie to us, everyday. The burden is on the individual to sift through a lot of stories with a critical eye and ear, possess a good understanding of the historical and geopolitical dynamics at play here, and glean bits of info from a variety of sources to construct the best image of what may actually be occurring.
Sadly, most people are woefully unprepared and unknowledgeable and are led by their own biases.

Seems that the word around the campfire is that Obama and the cabal overthrew the government in 2014ish. Once in, bio labs, child trafficking and money laundering have been the standard operation of the cabal. Putin went in surgical and slow to save civilians to eliminate bio labs and an army of real Nazis. The cabal is panicked over this. The US has not sent an army because Biden doesn’t seem to be in real control of the military. Numerous stories the news has told us have been proven to be lies. I know that’s a lot to take in, but it’s an educated guess widely believed to be mostly true. If it is true, what a shoooot show… I’m anxious to see how this story ends, aren’t you?

Great post, this is exactly where I'm at on this war. The most disturbing part, more disturbing than the death and destruction, is the weird mass formation of pro-Ukraine opinions to the point there were reddit jack offs actually signing up to go fight and die for Ukraine. People who would never sign up for the US military to get the GI bill but would rather just get free college without going through that, veteran benefits, and all the other benefits of serving in the US military, but when Ukraine is invaded, they go overseas to die. It is totally insane to me.
