Terrible idea for both sides. Democrats getting all the finance, software, and farming in Cali and New York though would make her head explode.....

We absolutely should have a safe and peaceful divorce process like the European Union does.

As it stands today the only available process is to kill your spouse. That is uncivilized.

No. This is something weak people desire.

If Liberty is to continue in this once great nation, it will be preserved in some form of subsidiary, nullification and even secession movements in the individual states.

Notice, those most opposed to the idea aren’t opposed IN THEORY to the Deep State — they simply want THEIR side in charge.

Louisiana and Mississippi are both squarely “red” at the federal level. Between both states, more than 1 in 3 people are black.

Quit using other races to make political points.

Isn’t John Bel Edwards a democrat? Then we would be a blue state? Hey did you know Toby Keith is a democrat. Could not believe that on Fox news this morning.

John Bel needs a nap that involves some dirt and a direction towards the earth’s core.

I don't know what the answer is, but the division in America that really started with Obama, has spiraled out of control. We are simply too divided, choose your side, because the America we knew is sadly gone forever...

Loads of radicals on the left and right despise every aspect of the United States. Those on the left dream of equity in misery and despondency and those on the right dream of a nation which never actually existed as their ideal even when most of them would be ill prepared to survive, let alone thrive, in that fictional world. Instead of getting a divorce, which is an admission of failure and is objectively a failing, we would be much better off finding common ground, living our own lived and demanding more out of elected leaders regardless of their party affiliation. We would also be well served to consider corporate interests and those of the individuals as equally important and get rid of the age old idea that whats good for corporate America is good for America in general...a rising tide only rises ships not anchored with too little rode...those ships are inundated and sunk when the tide rises and many Americans, left, right and center have found out too late that they had inadequate rode in a rising tide. Fantasies of monoculturalism, admired by both the left and the right, are impractical in the United States and contrary to what made this nation the greatest experiment in the history of our species. You can't get a married couple to agree on whats for supper yet most marriages are amicable even in divorce....very few couples get to the point where they seriously dream of ending the existence of their spouse.

We are currently divorcing, but it's a U-Haul divorce. 700k people moved out of California last year.

I'm a big fan of Balkanization. We need to make red areas redder.

Thats not a divorce that's a fling with some strange. Those 700K people did not leave their image of California behind, they packed it in the U-Haul and drove it to Texas. If youre a native southerner and haven't bemoaned the influx of "yankees" and their way of life into southern culture you are either blind or weren't a true southerner to begin with. Those people are merely moving to red state population centers and turning them purple on their way to blue. Study Cobb County Georgia and you will see what they are going to do wherever the wind up. They ain't moving to rural areas where they will be out numbered they are moving to Urban areas where their numbers and related political clout is on the rise. Rural Americans are doing the same thing...and while they may be redder than blue there willingness to accept change is also aiding the bluing of America. Man has marched toward "progress" from the beginning of time. It was always the job of conservatives to put a brake on that march and slow it down to allow acclimation to change....the right has chosen to refuse their rightful place in proper order and it ain't going to end well. People ain't going backwards socially....they may accept a minor course correction but they ain't going to accept backing up for long because they have too much invested in moving forward to stand for going backward.

Only for a minute. Look to Cobb County Georgia for a glimpse of the future. Not a bad look but definitely not what the Trump base dreams of.....

False. Since The Great Migration began in 2020 the 3 highest migration states (TX, FL, TN) have either maintained their prior ratios (TX) or become more red (TN, FL). I’m tired posting all the proof of this I’ve done it several times on here.

Anyone stating otherwise is clueless.
