Do you care if the president banged a prostitute?

In a civil society where morals, respect and decency were given high priority, I would be pissed.

However, we’re 40+ years beyond that, so anyone pretending to be outraged that a douche nozzle rich guy (sorry Donald...but that’s what you are) would bang a washed up - but still moderately attractive for her age - ex porn starlet is simply exposing their political bias.

Who was the last president who you feel was above such behavior?
Carter?
Reagan?

I’ll just keep voting for a president who I feel is less damaging than the other candidate and hope for the best...and I’ll teach my kids morals and respect at home, myself.

Agreed. For all the talk of Obama being a former cocaine user, or even a closeted gay man, I would not have cared if he had been even a half-way decent president.

No. It’s locker room talk. As long as the President is making America great again (and he is), I don’t care if he has sex with a prostitute.

Did he lie to a grand jury about it? It’s only not a big deal if he also lies to a grand jury about it.

I'm no Obama fan, but I cannot recall any such allegations coming up regarding him banging people while married.

Now, the fact is I don't really care what Trump "did" so long as it wasn't illegal. If he cheated on his wife, he's pretty scummy in that regard but that's between him and his wife.

I think the biggest issue comes from the religious right trying to claim any person with an "R" by their name is some bastion of virtue. If they were just honest (i.e. "We accept this guy might be a douche, but we also believe he will pass laws that are more in accordance with our beliefs than the other guy"), it wouldn't come across nearly as hypocritical as people trying to claim that Jesus personally picked Trump.

I don't care if the prez fricked a prostitute as long as he's not fricking the American people as a whole.

The Dems didn't have a problem with Bill fricking Lewinsky. I mean lets not all of a sudden grow a conscience.

I don't even care if I bang a prostitute, and I am much more important to myself than he is.

Lefties always look to Europe as the model of how we should be.

European national leaders always have a side piece. It is common and accepted with no fuss from the people.

Lefties should be thrilled that DJT is taking on a Euro style.

I mean, I would rather my POTUS be a virtuous man. But if he doesn't allow his prostitute banging to get in the way of doing his job then I don't care.

Banging a hooker before he was President? Meh. I would have a bigger problem with a President that would, I don't know, use his position as leader of the free world to influence an intern to give him a bj in the Oval Office, but I guess I'm just an old stick in the mud.

I only care when idiots juxtapose DT’s presidency with bringing Jesus back to the WH.

I see what your point is; however, the character of a leader does matter at some level. And, when all character is lost in the most powerful position on earth, it can lead to devestating results.......blow all the hot air you want, it doesn’t change it.

That said, as much as I don’t like DT, he’s not to that level......but be wary of the tolerance that’s started.

And to be fair, it began with Bill.

I grew up in Alabama, and trust me - going to church every Sunday, it was a common problem.

Admittedly it may not be as big of one as now, but I tend not to go to organized church anymore SPECIFICALLY because previous ones I attended were literally telling me how to vote. I didn't care if I agreed with who they wanted elected or not.

i agree, but the issue with your statement re: Trump specifically is that it ignores that being a sociopath and terrible person is required to get to that position now. doesn't matter if you're a Republican, Democrat, or a new party guy like Trump

the most sincere/normal guy in the 2016 race was probably Rand Paul and he was slaughtered

Not at all. Liberals have been trying to remove morality from government for decades. They won. I no longer care as long as the person in the seat is pushing my agenda.
