First-notice how she never engaged the host’s actual question--whether “woke” went too far. That's a losing frame, so she refused to touch it.

Instead, she immediately created distance from it. She pulled viewers out of the present and relocated them back to the COVID era. She also stacked contextual reminders of what that era felt like: high crime and unemployment, the open Overton window, everyone searching for solutions.

Once the viewers were fully transported there, she anchored “Woke 1” to that specific time and left it there.

Then she returned everyone to the present and spoke about Woke 1 as if it were a closed chapter from long ago that no longer belongs to her nor her team.

In Neuro Linguistic Programming (think conversational hypnosis), this is called Timeline Therapy (or temporal anchoring). You take a charged concept (Woke 1 in this case), place it on a specific point in the past, and release it there so it no longer sticks to the present.

What you just watched was her performing a clean version of Timeline Therapy in real time. She did this on the fly. She brought you, me, and “Woke 1” back to 2020, pinned it there, and walked away with clean hands.

The branding of “Woke 1” itself is also brilliant. Calling it version 1 implies it's a rough draft. Everyone already associates rough drafts with something messy, imperfect, and needing improvement. The rough draft is supposed to be flawed--it helps for a better final product.

By branding it as the rough draft, she turned the entire ideology into an early stage of a big project.

I could go on for another 10 paragraphs. But I think that's all you're ready for. She has completely stole the spotlight over the past few days.

She's brilliant and the nomination is probably hers if she wants it. She's that skilled.
