Like everything else, the extremes of homosexuality are represented in the news and media.
In the real world, most gay dudes are pretty normal with similar distributions of good people and assholes as the general population.

Another thing to note is none of them are especially open about their sexuality. They don't try to hide it, but they dont flaunt it. Some you can tell, some you cant. But just like I dont talk about having sex with Women at work, they dont talk about having sex with same sex partners.

No, it's probably not who they are. It's likely the result of something else family related though.
Most of us (all of my friends and me) lead very happy, healthy, well-adjusted lives with no torment. We have families who love and support us.
The few I have known who were tormented, it normally resulted directly from ignorant, small-minded, hateful family members who chose not to accept them and chose hate and intolerance instead. One of my friends, after he came out, was beaten so badly by his dad and uncle that his mom divorced his dad, and took him and moved across the country to get away from it. The other I knew took his own life because his parents disowned him and his partner. This was last year.

It’s more of a 70/30 split in my experience. I know quite a few conservative gay men in medicine, albeit I work in a fairly conservative area so that data is going to be skewed.
Even in Dallas and Houston though there were certainly gays who were republican

It's never been my position that 100% of homosexuals were abused. I believe the great majority of humans have the capacity to become gay, but since "straight" is the organic default, most of those who turn out gay were affected at some point in their development by experiences that profoundly affected hormonal of psychological changes (really, both.).
A prepubscent girl who is sexually abused will often develop larger breasts, and at an earlier stage, than their peers. Should we celebrate their large breasts that their bodies developed in response to an awful experience in their youth?

And we already know that one of these processes occurs in utero. The androgen level in fetuses has been isolated as a marker for homosexuality in adulthood.
You aren't wrong but you're ignoring genetic predisposition which is absolutely a significant factor in homosexuality in adult species.
