voting by mail is automatic they send out ballots indiscriminately that means without discretion.
you have to file a request to vote absentee that gets reviewed and then a ballot is mailed to the address requested.

Obviously not every leftist pundit trusts mail-in ballots, and most likely they believe that they are easily used to create voter fraud.
