DNA testing companies are the “Miss Cleo” of this generation. Not so long ago, 60 Minutes did a piece on how inaccurate/inconclusive/bogus ancestry testing really is.

I still can't believe people actually pay for this. If it wasn't completely obvious that the only goal was to simply collect your DNA then I don't know what to tell y'all.

The vast majority of people who sign up for this service WANT to be mutts. Haven't you seen the advertisements? They are putting in fake results to give their customers what they want.

I'd go a step farther and suggest that the entire idea was probably set up by the government as a way to increase the DNA database they already keep on criminals. The mysterious 3rd party is the government.

I know lots of white people from the South that did the test with each of the companies and none of them got African results...Do you even indicate your race when you send in your spit?
