Because he is an idiot who thought it was about Mexicans coming over the American border. Even he admitted he was wrong but still uses it as an insult for people that accurately saw what the movie was before it was released as a movie about family values. The only reason you’d judge it differently from Ratatouille (which was about France) is because you’re at best a semi-racist. It’s just a movie set in Mexico, no different than basing a movie in France so long as you aren’t virtue signaling. It’s ridiculous since it’s one of the most conservative films in recent memory.

“Bigot” used to mean something, and it was more than “someone I disagree with.” It was a person who acted on it, who actively disliked people and treated them differently. The left has cheapened it just like they did “racist”.

He’s the only one on this board I’ve seen dissing that movie, but people went to town on WALL-E. WALL-E does have some left leaning messages to it, I’ll grant you, but the Leftists are not pleased by the movie once they get to the Axiom. It does warn about the dangers of corporatism and not taking care of the planet (which why the later is an issue for conservatives I still can’t fathom), but it’s all about not being a lazy frick and waiting for a large entity to give you a handout.
