I’m not fat nor do I care for fats and nobody is glorifying fats. its a good point that you don’t see many fat gays (excluding lesbians of course) since aids kind of helps keep the pounds off.

Please don’t notice how many gay men had their sexuality “awakened” while very young by very much older men, how many pedos are attracted to both men and boys, or how many gays report being sexual abused as children compared to the general population. Noticing those obvious links is forbidden wrongthink. How about some more drag queen story time for the kids instead?

Why do you raise them around morbidly obese people then? That teaches them to disrespect their temples every bit as much and probably more than raising them around a gay person. Being morbidly obese probably reduces the average lifespan by 15 years. That is a total disrespect to God in my opinion, and yet I find these people to be the most judgmental people in the country.
My statement applies to all people, including the gluttonous.

Children should be taught to respect the bodies that God has given them and to do all things in moderation. The gluttonous need to repent, as well.

Morals apart from God's objective standard are nothing but subjective personal opinions. It's why if you don't use scripture, there is no objective basis to condemn homosexuality or anything else.

Even from an evolutionary perspective, while you could argue that evolution favors groups that pass along genes to progeny, there is no moral imperative to it. Saying it's "unnatural" from a strictly natural (evolutionary) standpoint is an arbitrary distinction that can easily be met with a "so what"? There's no rational objection to be made as to why an evolutionary standard is the necessary one to hold to. Same for the "do no harm" standard.

Imagine believing the God that created humans to be His image-bearers and to uphold His statutes doesn't care about whether or not they are doing what He created them to do.

That’s what is primarily being discussed in this thread. People can have their opinions based on any reason they want. It doesn’t have to be based on scripture.

It's a logically futile effort, then, because it amounts to arguing over which flavor of ice cream is best. It's a matter of subjective preference if you remove God as the objective arbiter of moral truth.

I said:

quote:

They call him "Uncle____" , same as me.

Did you really take that as I call my partner uncle and not that the kids call me uncle also?

That’s what a message board is all about. This isn’t a spiritual debate board. People give their opinions and the reasons why they have them. Those reasons often have nothing to do with scripture.

You’re free to do whatever you want, Mickey. Don’t involve the children.
